Hi, I'm Nuralya

I'm a Malaysian girl who was born in London, England but raised in Dallas, Texas. I moved to Dallas when I was 1 years old. I'm 19 years old and currently studying at Tarrant County College. I’m the middle child and the only girl. I have an older brother and a younger brother. I’m majoring in computer engineering. I’m hoping to transfer to University of Texas at Arlington. I love to listen to music, travel, and take pictures. 
My interest in photography began ever since I was little. My first ever camera were those disposable ones and I loved it so much! I used to carry them around all the time and take random pictures. As I got older, I saved all my money so that one day I can buy a DSLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex). I own a Nikon d5100 with an 18-55mm lens and a 50mm lens. Whenever I’m bored, I would go outside and take pictures. I would sometimes ask a few of my friends if they would model for me. I would take pictures all the time to the point where people would pay me to be their photographer for whatever event it would be. I’ve done graduations, weddings, engagement parties, and senior pictures. 
I never took photography classes. All I did was go online. I’ve noticed over the years that my skills in photography had improved. I’ve gotten better at understanding my camera and how to edit the pictures. A lot of people have asked me how I take my photos and that's why I created this blog, to give tips and tricks on: how I shoot my pictures, which lens I used, and how I edit them. There might be a few things that you probably already know like the basics but I hope that you do learn a thing or two from my posts.
